April P. Bentley is a Milwaukee native who learned the twisted art of the streets at an early age. Once a victim of child sex trafficking she now considers herself a free agent and she is full of passion and purpose. Part of that purpose is the establishment of a non-profit organization called R.U.B.I.E.S. which educates girls on the danger and trauma associated with sex trafficking. Bentley will share her story of survival with us and how she regained her freedom. Bentley sits on the clinical committee at Exploit No More, is part of the speakers bureau and mentor with Women Inspiring Youth Network, and previously consulted at Redeem and Restore as well as the Human Trafficking Task Force of Greater Milwaukee. A free-will offering will be collected to benefit R.U.B.I.E.S.
