Returning to In-Person Worship Services
We invite you to join us Sundays at 10am for Worship Services. The Parkside church council takes this decision to return to in-person worship services very seriously. The safety of our staff and members is our priority. Services will also be posted 2 hours after completion to watch virtually on our Facebook and YouTube pages. The Council reserves the right to cancel in-person services should we experience a surge in cases, please check this web page or our Facebook page weekly for any changes.
The council met on May 16, 2021 to discuss the recent changes in CDC guidelines. They determined that with the high vaccination rate within our congregation that it is now safe to loosen some of our precautions.
The following COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken for the indefinite future:
We know there are many among us who have been devastatingly affected by this pandemic. Thank you for the grace and patience you all have shown your church leaders and for your support as we have tried to navigate the ever changing landscape this virus has created.
Peace and Blessings to you all,
Pastor Susan and Members of the Council
Please know that if you are in a high risk group and/or are just not comfortable returning to in-person worship services, we understand and encourage you to stay at home. We will be recording the services and making them available on Facebook and YouTube for you to view and join us virtually (recorded videos of the services are posted 2 hours after completion of service).
Thank you for adhering to these guidelines to help lower the risk for our staff, attendees, and broader community!
We cannot wait to see you all in-person in our beautiful sanctuary!

The following COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken for the indefinite future:
- First, if you have been vaccinated (2 weeks post your second show for Moderna and Pfizer or 2 weeks post your shot for Johnson & Johnson) you may choose to not wear a mask during the service.
- We are taking down most of the ribbons sectioning off some pews to leave empty and opening up the pews.
- The best news is that we will be able to sing again! We do ask though that you bring a mask and wear it when singing since droplets can travel so far and build up in the air so quickly while singing.
- We will be holding off for awhile on having refreshments after church, passing the offering plate, and passing around communion until the number of cases further declines in our area.
- We ask that you still keep some distance between each other and use your own good judgment when it comes to your own health.
- If you have any COVID symptoms we ask that you stay home until you feel better.
- If you are uncomfortable with coming to church because you are immune compromised, please let us know so we can try to accommodate your needs as well, perhaps you would be more comfortable being seated in the Peace Room, formerly known as the Cry Room.
- We will also continue to record and post videos of the services on YouTube and Facebook.
