ABOUT
The newly formed Lighthouse Port Washington/ Saukville Ecumenical Youth Ministry is a shared ministry of five congregations from three denominations in two communities. Our churches joined together in 2018 to establish an independent non-profit because we saw the need for a vibrant Christian group which welcomes youth grades 6-12 of all faith backgrounds. Together, we seek to create a welcoming and safe community where youth can grow in their relationships with God and with each other.
WHAT'S HAPPENING

The Kickoff Event for the Port Washington/ Saukville Ecumenical Youth Ministry group was held on Sunday, September 23 at Grand Avenue Methodist Church in Port Washington. The event included good food and fellowship and it was a success. The tweens and teens in attendance had a lot of great ideas for outings and names for the group. We are happy to say we are getting closer to the hiring of a youth leader. On Giving Tuesday, November 27, we held a huge fundraiser that included breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- with music, silent auction, and craft sale. It was a huge success and we thank everyone for their support! We also held a Trunk or Treat, Pumpkin Carving, Bowling, and more! Will you join us for our next event? See dates below. |
