Caring Ministries
The mission of Caring Ministries is to provide care and support to our members and friends who are homebound, in assisted care, or in nursing homes, and to those who have long or short term issues of concern. We coordinate a Prayer Chain and the Prayer Family and Children of the Church databases. Our College Care provides support to our college students. An extensive card ministry welcomes visitors, comforts those with medical issues, celebrates children's birthdays and life's joys, and provides special thank you cards. We are here for people of all ages! If you are in need of prayer, please contact us at 262-284-0588 or [email protected] . You can support our very active Caring Ministries by purchasing handmade greeting cards and Fair Trade chocolates and tea available for sale in our Fireside Room. |
Faith Formation
Join us for "Coffee & Conversation," a casual gathering and conversation that focuses on the lectionary scripture for this Sunday’s worship service! |
Missions
Mission is at the heart of Parkside Community UCC. We make a conscious effort to be involved with mission that is close to home and across the world. We are home to the Ozaukee Food Alliance , a partner and host church to Family Promise of Ozaukee County, and our newest mission is to help educate the public on Human Trafficking. Other missions we support include but are not limited to: Lakeshore Advocacy Center, Franciscan Peacemakers, the Alzheimer's Association, One Great Hour of Sharing, Strengthen the Church, Neighbors in Need, The Christmas Fund, Church World Services, Heifer International, Parkside Community UCC Scholarship Fund, Lasata Senior Living and more! Contact us at [email protected] to find out how you can get involved! |
Music
Our worship services are blended using both traditional and contemporary music. Our Music Director is Michael Chapel. Our worship services provide a wide range of opportunities for musical expression through traditional and contemporary hymns, soloists, and instrumental musicians-- all of which are hallmarks of this enduring service. Stewardship
Living generously is a core Christian value that Jesus taught constantly. We believe that all of Jesus' followers should follow by example and incorporate what it means to live a generous life in all areas of our lives and in all ministries of the church. There are several ways to give to Parkside Community UCC. Click here to learn more. |
Worship & Hospitality
The Sunday morning worship service has been the heartbeat of our faith for many years and is a blended style of worship (elements of contemporary and traditional). It has a wide range of opportunities for musical expression through traditional and contemporary hymns, soloists, and instrumental musicians-- all of which are hallmarks of this enduring service which includes time honored liturgies and prayers, a children's sermon, hymns accompanied by piano, and at times Christian drama, and an inspiring sermon by our pastor. If a friendly, warm, and caring worship experience is what you desire, we invite you to join us on Sunday! Coffee Fellowship follows every worship service. Come join us for a sweet treat and a cup of Fair Trade Coffee! |
Youth
Parkside is proud to be part of the new Lighthouse Ecumenical Youth Ministry. Lighthouse is a non-profit youth group founded in 2018 by five churches in the Port Washington/Saukville area. Lighthouse's mission is to provide youth grades 6-12 of all faith backgrounds with a safe space to build relationships with God and with each other through engagement in both social and community service activities.
